I went to London for the European Premiere of The Hobbit, the new movie of Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson. It turned out to be a huge premiere. I arrives 3,5 hours later than Rene, but it turned out that I got a better spot after all... That mad me able to get an autograph of Peter Jackson. He signed my filmcell of The Lord Of The Rings but didn't stop to pose for photo's unfortunately.

I was lucky enough to meet Jessica Alba (Sin City, Into The Blue, Fantastic Four) when she left Claridge's London. The American actress normally doesn't like posing for pictures, but she made an exception and posed for a picture and with this gesture she made me very happy!

I went to London for the world premiere of the highly anticipated musical "Les Miserables" starring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried. The premiere, which was being held at the Empire and Odeon cinemas in London was very big and very cold. During this premiere I was able to meet the following people;
Hugh Jackman is mostly known for playing Wolverine in the X-Men movies. Other than that he is known for movies like Australia and Swordfish. Hugh signed my poster of Swordfish and posed for a photo.

Stephen Fry is mostly known for his funny performances. When he was a guest at the premiere he signed my poster of Alice In Wonderland and posed for a picture.
Idris Elba was also a guest during the premiere and he signed my poster of "Thor" but was unwilling to pose for a new picture.
I was able to meet one the greatest villain-actors of all time in the National Theatre in London, John Lithgow. John Lithgow is mostly known for his villain-parts in "Cliffhanger" and "Dexter". He is also known for the comedy series "3rd Rock From The Sun". When I've met him he signed my poster of "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" and posed for a photo.
During my last trip to London, I went to meet Rafe Spall who starred in "Constellations" in the Duke Of York theatre. When I met him after his performance he signed my poster of "Prometheus" en the DVD-cover of "Anonymous" and he was also happy to pose for a picture.
Normally the Unesco Gala in Dusseldorf is really good to meet some stars. This year was a bit different. The amount of stars was very low, but the highlight for me this year was Jared Leto, known as leadsinger of "30 Seconds To Mars". Jared is also known as an actor in movies such as "Requiem For A Dream", "Alexander" and "Panic Room". It was hard work, but in the end I was lucky enough to get a picture with him. Not bad, compared to fellow collector Tom who only was able to get Roberto Blanco. Sorry Tom... I couldn;t help myself :-)
Like every year, this year I also attended the FACTS convention in Ghent, Belgium. I believe this is one of the largest movie conventions of Europe and it is always a pleasure to be there!

Yesterday the new comedy Ted premiered in Amsterdam. For this occasion the lead actor Mark Wahlberg came to Amsterdam to promote the movie. During his stay in Amsterdam he was staying in the Amstel Hotel. This is also the hotel where I was able to meet him again.
Mark Wahlberg signed my Blu-Ray covers of "The Departed", "The Lovely Bones", "The Other Guys" and "Contraband". He also signed my DVD-covers of "The Fighter", "The Big Hit" and "Four Brothers". He was also friendly enough to pose for another picture.
I went to London for the U.K. premiere of "The Expendables 2", starring Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude van Damme, Jason Statham and many more. For the U.K. premiere Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Statham, Lundgren, Van Damme, Adkins and director Simon West came to London.

Although I've got signatures of Jean-Claude van Damme and Dolph Lundgren, I was not able to get new pictures with the action-heroes.
When the premiere for "The Expendables 2" was finished, an after-party for the movie was being held at the Hippodrome Casino not far from the Empire Theatre. I found the location of the after-party by accident, but I was able to add two more pictures with celebrities to my collection.
Michelle Rodriguez ("Avatar", "S.W.A.T.", "World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles" and "The Fast & Furious" franchise) was in London, because she is filming Fast & Furious 6 in the U.K. at the moment. Nice of her to atted the party. When I saw her walking towards the venue I asked her for a picture and she was happy to do it.

I went to London for the European premiere of the latest Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises". The movies stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Christian Bale signed my poster of "The Dark Knight Rises" and posed for a picture. Well, it is certainly not my best picture ever, but as Christian is not that keen on taking pictures I shouldn't complain.

John Hannah is mostly known for his part in all three movies of "The Mummy". Besides this trilogy he is also known for "Four Weddings & A Funeral" and the TV-series "Spartacus". When I met him him at the Soho Hotel he signed my posters of "Spartacus" and "The Mummy :Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor". He was also willing to pose for a picture.
When I found out an international movie would be (partially) shot in The Netherlands, I was interested inmediately. When I found out the lead was going to the Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale, King Arthur, The Three Musketeers, Clash Of The Titans, Hannibal TV-series) I just had to be there. I found a way to be an extra on set and by doing this I experienced a day of shooting an international movie... (and ofcourse I was able to meet Mads Mikkelsen and the director Asger Leth!)

Like almost every year this year also went to London for the London Film & Comic Con. This is one of the biggest shows in Europe. This year I only went one day to London, which was pretty exhausting. As usual I was able to meet a few celebrities.
Hayden Panettiere, who starred as Claire in the hitseries "Heroes", is also known for movies like "Scream 4" and "I Love You Beth Cooper". During the photshoot she posed for a photo with me.
Thomas Dekker is mostly known for playing John Connor in "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles". He is also known for his parts in "Heroes", "The Secret Circle", "Kaboom" and the remake of "A Nightmare On Elm Street". He signed my "Heroes" artwork and posed for a photo during the photoshoot.
Tom Skerrit is mostly known for starring roles in movies like "Alien" and "Top Gun". Beside these classics he also starred in more recent movie like "Desperation", "Whiiteout" and "Tears Of The Sun". During the photoshoot he posed for a picture with me.
