Dan Aykroyd Promoting Crystal Skull Vodka In London

Legendary actor Dan Aykroyd (Ghostbusters, The Blues Brothers, Trading Places) was in London to promote his own vodka, Crystal Skull Vodka. For this promotion he had some TV and radio appearances as well as a signing at Gerry's in Soho.

At the signing Dan Aykroyd signed my poster of The Blues Brothers as well as my DVD-cover of The Blues Brothers and the DVD-boxset of Ghostbusters 1 & 2. He was also willing to pose for a picture.
When he had an appearance at the "Empire" building next to Forbidden Planet, I was also able to get a picture with the Academy Award nominated actor.
Let's see when he's coming back to Europe...

Bafta After-Party @ Grosvenor House Hotel

Like the last couple of years I've booked a room in the Grosvenor House Hotel. You always see some celebrities waking around inside there. And this year was no different...

Gary Oldman (Dracula, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Leon) was nominated for best actor and posed for a picture.
Christina Hendricks (Mad Men, Drive, Life As We Know It) also attended the Bafta Award ceremony and it's afterparty. She was also willing to pose for a picture.
For the third time this trip I've met Chris Hemsworth (Thor, The Avengers, The Perfect Getaway) and again he was willing to pose for picture.
Paddy Considine (The Bourne Ultimatum, Blitz) won his Bafta for best directorial debut for the movie Tyrannosaur. When I met him at the after-party he posed for a picture with me holding his Bafta!
Anil Kapoor (24, Slumdog Millionaire, Mission: Impossible 4) was a presenter at this year's Bafta Awards. I was very happy to meet him, beacuse I think he was great as President Hassan in 24! Luckily enough for me he posed for a picture.
Tom Hiddleston (Thor, The Avengers) was nominated for the Rising Star Award. Although he didn't win it, he was willing to pose for a picture.
Naomie Harris is already a well known actress but that is all going to be an understatement, when the new Bond-movie Skyfall opens in theaters in which she plays the new Bond Girl! When she left the hotel she was willing to pose for a picture.
Gillian Anderson (FBI Agent Scully in The X-Files series and movies) posed for a picture.
Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids, Paul) was very cold, but she was willing to pose for a very quick picture.
Helena Bonham Carter (The King's Speech, Alice In Wonderland, Planet Of The Apes) posed for a picture.
Director Tim Burton (Batman, Alice In Wonderland, Planet Of The Apes) posed for a picture while he left the hotel.
Actor and director Kenneth Branagh (Valkyrie, Frankenstein, Thor) posed for a photo.
Academy Award winning actor Jim Broadbent (Iris, Moulin Rouge, The Iron Lady) was willing to pose for a picture.
Chris O'Dowd (Bridesmaids, The It Crowd) was very friendly to all his fans. He was also happy to pose for a picture with me.
Rising Star Award nominee Eddie Redmayne (My Week With Marilyn, The Pillars Of The Earth) posed for a picture.
Jeremy Irvine, the lead actor in Spielberg's latest movie War Horse, posed for a photo.
Richard E Grant (Dracula, The Iron Lady) posed for a picture when he left the party.
Holliday Grainger (The Borgias, Bel Ami) posed for a picture.
Jamie Campbell Bower (Camelot, Prisoner, Twilight: New Moon), this time with short hair, posed for picture.
Bonnie Wright (Harry Potter movies) is the girlfriend of Jamie Campbell Bower, and she was also willing to pose for a picture.

Bafta After-Party Red Carpet @ Grosvenor House Hotel

After the Bafta ceremony, which I did not attend this year, the after-party was being held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in central London. I decided to wait at the red carpet to meet some celebrities.

Tom Hiddleston (Thor, The Avengers, The Deep Blue Sea) posed for a photo.
Michel Hazanavicius, director of the award winning movie The Artist, signed my poster of The Artist and posed for a photo.

Naomie Harris, the new Bond Girl in the upcoming Bond-movie Skyfall signed my Skyfall promo-poster and posed for a photo.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost, G:I Joe, The Thing) posed for a photo.
Tim Burton, director of Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Alice In Wonderland) posed for a photo.
Rising Star Nominee Chris O'Dowd (Bridesmaids, The IT-Crowd) signed my poster of Bridesmaids and posed for a picture.
Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids, Paul) posed for a photo.
Jean Dujardin and Berenice Bejo signed my poster of The Artist, Ralph Fiennes signed my poster of Clash Of The Titans, Michelle Williams and Eddie Redmayne signed my poster of My Week With Marilyn. They all did not want to pose for pictures unfortunately.

Bafta Pre Party @ Annabel's

Every year the day before the Bafta Awards a Baft pre-party is being held. This year it was held at Annabel's. I was able to meet the following people;

Academy award winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. (Jerry Maguire, Pearl Harbour, Rat Race) signed my DVD-cover of Rat Race and posed for a picture.
French actress Berenice Marlohe is known as one the new Bond Girls in the upcoming Bond-movie Skyfall. She signed my promo-poster of Skyfall and posed for a picture.
Chris Hemsworth (Thor, The Avengers) signed my poster of The Avengers and posed for a picture.
Rufus Sewell (The Pillars Of The Earth, Dark City) signed my book of The Pillars Of The Earth and posed for a picture.
Rosamund Pike (Wrath Of The Titans, Die Another Day) signed my poster of Wrath Of The Titans and posed for a picture.
Joely Richardson (Nip/Tuck, Event Horizon) signed my poster of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and posed for a picture.
Richard E. Grant (Dracula, The Iron Lady) posed for a picture.
Ron Howard (The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, Apollo 13) posed for a picture.

Celebrities @ Claridges Hotel

Another hotel which is also good to spot some celebrities is Claridges hotel. This time I was able to meet the following people there;

Chris Hemsworth (Thor, The Avengers, Snow White And The Huntsman) was in town because he was nominated for a Rising Star Award at the Bafta's. When I met him coming out of the hotel he signed my posters of Thor and two different posters of Snow White And The Huntsman. After this he was happy to pose for a picture.
Ron Howard, who is currently making the movie Rush starring Chris Hemsworth, is mostly known for directing The Da Vinci Code, Apollo 13, Ransom and as an actor in the series Happy Days. The friendly actor was ok with posing for a picture.
Sir Ben Kingsley (Gandhi, Schindler's List, Hugo) signed my poster of Hugo and posed for a picture.
Kenneth Branagh, is mostly known for acting in movies like My Week With Marilyn, Valkyrie and Wild Wild West, but recently he directed the superhero movie Thor, starring Chris Hemsworth. After Kenneth signed my poster of Thor, he posed for a picture.
John Hurt, who was handed out a special award at the Bafta awards is mostly known for roles in Alien, The Elephant Man, Harry Potter and the latest Indiana Jones movie. When I met him in fron of Claridges hotel he signed my DVD-covers of The Elephant Man and Rob Roy and posed for a picture.
Academy award winning director Tom Hooper is mostly known for his movie The King's Speech. Tom is currently filming a new version of Les Miserables in London. When I met him he posed for a picture.
Jessica Chastain (The Tree Of Life, The Help, The Debt) is one of the most rising stars at the moment. She starred at numerous films last year and was nominated for the movie The Help. She signed my poster of The Help and posed for a picture.
Jeremy Irvine is known for his leading role in the new Steven Spielberg movie War Horse. When he left his hotel he signed my poster of War Horse and posed for a picture.

Celebrities @ Soho Hotel

Almost every trip to London, I am going to check out the Soho hotel in London. Not always, but usually a few celebrities are staying in this hotel. And this trip was no exception...

Jon Hamm (Mad Men, The Town, Sucker Punch) was in town to promote a new series and to be present at the prestigious Bafta Awards. When I met him in fron of the Soho hotel he signed my posters of Mad Men and The Town and he posed for a picture.
Helena Bonham Carter (Harry Potter, Alice In Wonderland, Dark Shadows) was walking towards the Soho hotel. When I asked her for a picture she was happy enough to do it (although the picture suggests otherwise)
Andrew Lincoln was formerly known as the guy from Love Actually, but nowadays he is quite popular du to his succes as the lead in the series The Walking Dead. He signed my poster of The Walking Dead and posed for a picture.

Tilda Swinton @ Connaught Hotel

Academy Award winning actress Tilda Swinton (Burn After Reading, The Chronicles Of Narnia, Michael Clayton) is always one of the nicest actresses I've ever met. When I met while leavinf the Connaught hotel she signed my posters of Burn After Reading and We Need To Talk About Kevin and posed for a picture.
