Kidnapping Freddy Heineken Filming In Amsterdam

When I found out where cast & crew where filming scenes of the new movie "Kidnapping Freddy Heineken" in Amsterdam I decided to go take a look to see if there was a chance to meet to cast. They were filming very near to the Amstel hotel so it was not that hard to find the set.
And after waiting some hours in the cold the cast & crew arrived to film a new scene.

Sam Worthington (Avatar, Clash Of The Titans, Terminator Salvation) plays Willem Holleeder in the movie. For me he was the most important one to get from this movie, so I was very happy to see that he was very friendly. He posed for a picture with me and signed my posters of Avatar, Clash Of The Titans and Terminator Salvation.
Jim Sturgess (Upside down, Cloud Atlas, 21) was another one I was very happy to meet. Jim plays Cor van Hout in the movie. When he arrived he was happy to pose for a picture with me.
Mark van Eeuwen (De Eetclub) is a dutch actor who is playing Frans Meijer in the movie, which is ofcourse a great opportunity for him. Dutch actors are usually quite friendly and he was no exception so he also posed for a picture.
Daniel Alfredson (Millenium 2 en 3) is the director of this project. He also posed for a picture.

Nick Carter Of The Backstreet Boys @ Amstel Hotel Amsterdam

When I was waiting for the cast & crew of "Kidnapping Freddy Heineken" te begin shooting in front of the Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam I found out that the Backstreet Boys were staying in the Hotel. As I am not a big fan of them I decided not to do any effort in getting them together with 40 or 50 women who were waiting for them, but when his cab stopped right in front of me I couldn't resist to make a picture with Nick Carter. It turned out I was the only one who got him at that time, because he decided to go in inmediately after...

Kings Of Leon

Kings Of Leon, one of the most popular and succesfull bands of the moment also stayed in Amsterdam for the MTV EMA's 2013. I was able to get a picture signed by all 4 of them, but I was only able to get a picture with two of them...

Caleb Followill (leadsinger)

When I was in Amsterdam for the MTV EMA's 2013 I was able to meet (almost) the complete band Queens Of The Stone Age.

Weekend Of Cancellations 2013

Like every year also this year's edition of the Weekend Of Horrors turned out to be a weekend of cancellations, so fortunately it wasn't a surprise any more. But I decided to go anyhow because there were a couple of people I'd like te meet...

Costas Mandylor is probably mostly known for his part as detective Hoffman in the Saw movies, where he is later revealed as the killer! He was very friendly and chatted with everyone who was up for it. I took a picture with him during the photoshoot.
Clifton Collins Jr. is mostly known for his parts in Crank 2, Boondock Saints 2 and Star Trek. He was filming in Berlin and stopped by to meet some fans. I also made a picture with him during the photoshoot.
Sarah Butler is actually only known (at the moment) for the movie I Spit On your Grave, but that movie was very cool, so I decided to make a picture with her as well.
Haruo Nakajima (84 years old) is the man in the Godzilla-suit of the old Japanese Godzilla movies. His manager said I could take a picture with him for free when I bought the autograph... I couldn't resist.

F.A.C.T.S. 2013

For the second time me and my girlfriend Samantha had a stand at the FACTS convention in Gent, Belgium. This convention is, I think, the largest movie convention of Europe and it is always a pleasure to be there. Like every year, this 20th anniversary year also had a few cool guests.

Julie Benz (Dexter, Rambo, Boondock Saints 2) signed my poster of Dexter and posed for a picture.
Iain Glen (Tomb Raider, Game Of Thrones) signed my Game Of Thrones poster and posed for a picture.
Manu Bennett (Spartacus, The Hobbit, Arrow) signed my poster of The Hobbit and posed for a photo.
The Avellan twins (Machete, Machete Kills, Planet Terror) posed for a picture.
Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens, The Rock) posed for a picture, looking very tired.

Michael Douglas @ Deauville Filmfestival 2013

Two times academy award winner Michael Douglas (Falling Down, The Game, Basic Instinct, Wall Street) was in town to promote his new movie Behind The Candelabra in which he plays Liberace. I was extremely lucky when I met him at the hotel, because I was only there with fellow collector Tom. He came all the way to us to make a picture with us and during the festival he signed my poster of Romancing The Stone and my DVD-cover of Basic Instinct.

John Travolta @ Deauville Filmfestival 2013

Two times academy award nominated actor John Travolta is one of the coolest actors alive. He is mostly known for movies like Face/Off, Swordfish, Pulp Fiction, Grease and Saturday Night Fever. John signed my posters of Face/Off and Swordfish and my DVD-covers of Pulp Fiction and Broken Arrow. Travolta is one of the most friendly actors I've ever met and he had no problem with posing for pictures with fans.

Nicolas Cage @ Deauville Filmfestival 2013

Finally I was able to meet Nicolas Cage, an actor I wanted to meet for ages. The Academy Award winning actor is mostly known for movies like Face/Off, The Rock, Con Air, Leaving Las Vegas and Kick-Ass. He signed my posters of Face/Off, Gone In 60 Seconds and Kick-Ass and my DVD-covers of Gone In 60 Seconds, The Rock, Con Air as well as a picture of him. He was in a rush all the time but I managed to get a picture with him after all.

Jamie Foxx @ Deauville Filmfestival 2013

One of the best names that attended this years Deauville Filmfestival was academy award winning actor Jamie Foxx, known for movies like Miami Vice, Django Unchained, Ray and White House Down (which he was promoting at the festival). Jamie signed my posters of White House Down and Django Unchained. After that, he was also willing to pose for a picture with me.

Celebrities @ Deauville Filmfestival 2013

After not been attending the Deauville filmfestival for several years, I decided to attend the festival this year because of a couple of good celebrities attended the festival also.

Famke Janssen (X-Men, Goldeneye, Nip/Tuck) was a jury member and allthough she was not very friendly this time, she did pose for a picture.
Jena Malone (Sucker Punch, Into The Wild) signed my posters of Into The Wild and Sucker Punch and also posed for a picture.
Roland Emmerich (2012, Independence Day, Godzilla) signed my DVD-covers of Universal Soldier and Stargate, my Blu-Ray cover of Independence Day and my posters of 2012 and White House Down. He was also more then willing to pose for a photo.
Gale Anne Hurd (producer of Aliens, The Terminator and The Abyss) was in town for a tribute to her. When she left the hotel she posed for a photo.

Star Wars Celebraion Europe 2

For many collector's Star Wars is the ultimate experience in both movie experience and collector's experience. So I guess many were happy to find out that the second Stars Wars Celebration Europe was being held in Essen, Germany. I think, many were less happy when they saw the prices of the signatures. Some were 120 euro's! I decided not to get any autographs, but only make two pictures, which were still expensive but less expensive than the autographs...

Mark Hamill is, as everyone knows, almost only known for playing Luke Skywalker in episode 4, 5 and 6. Because he is the main character and you almost never seen him, I did make a picture with him.
Ian McDiarmid is most known for playing the evil Emperor Palpatine in both the old trilogy as well as the new trilogy. He also has a part in Sleepy Hollow, starring Johnny Depp.

This year it was an exceptional good year for me, because one the greatest Hollywood icons ever attended the show...

World famous actor and singer David Hasselhoff A.K.A. The Hoff (Knight Rider, Baywatch, Anaconda 3, Pirnaha 3DD) signed a T-Shirt (Don't Hassle The Hoff) for me and posed for a photo during the photoshoot.

The Night Alive @ Donmar Warehouse Theatre

When I was in London just one day for the London Film & Comic Con, I also went to stagedoor of the Donmar Warehouse theatre, where Ciaran Hinds (Rome, Game Of Thrones) starred in a new play called The Night Alive.

When Ciaran Hinds left the theatre, he signed my poster of Game Of Thrones and my Blu-Ray cover of The Woman In Black. He was also willing to pose for a photo.
Michael McElhatton is mostly known for portraying Roose Bolton in the hitseries Game Of Thrones. When he left the theatre he signed my poster of Game Of Thrones and posed for a photo.

Also Tobias Menzies (Rome, Game Of Thrones) went to see the play. When he left the theatre he signed my poster of Game Of Thrones.
